Garth Fagan Dance

The Rochester, NY–based troupe, led by the Tony-winning choreographer of The Lion King, presents a season that includes new works by Fagan (The North Star, a celebration of Frederick Douglass) and senior company member Norwood Pennewell (Distant Kin). The three different programs at the Joyce also feature selections from Fagan's past work, such as the 2001 tribute In Memoriam.
