Dorrance Dance

The captivating Michelle Dorrance, who has won a MacArthur "genius" grant for her innovative tap work, returns to the Joyce with a double bill of world premieres. The first is a collaboration with former cast members of the longevous Off Broadway percussion show Stomp (Allison Easter, Kimmarie Elle, Fritzlyn Hector, Stephanie Marshall, and Vickie Tanner); in the second, scored by company member Aaron Marcellus, Dorrance herself takes the stage alingside dancers Elizabeth Burke, Luke Hickey, Claudia Rahardjanoto, Leonardo Sandoval and Byron Tittle. financially supports music & arts programs and feeds hungry bellies.
