Dancing in the Streets presents three days of site-specific dance in the Bronx. Each program includes a work by James "Cricket" Colter, in which five hip-hop dancers adapt their vocabulary for the environment; a piece by Larry Keigwin, featuring six company members and 24 community volunteers of all ages and abilities; and one of three Bronx choreographers: Ni'Ja Whitson Adebanjo (Aug 13), Toni Renee Johnson (Aug 14) and Arthur Aviles (Aug 16).
