China National Opera & Dance Theater tells the story of the legendary scholar’s journey through the kingdoms of Zhou Dynasty China in a six-part dance spectacle, featuring opulent costumes, traditional Chinese music and nearly five dozen dancers. Hu Yang and Tang Shiyi play the leading roles; Kong Dexin, billed as "a 77th-generation descendant of Confucius," directs and choreographs.
