Complexions Contemporary Ballet

Complexions hits the Joyce with two programs. The first week of evening shows (February 19–24) comprises to works by resident choreographer Dwight Rhoden: Bach 25, set to Baroque violin and cello music by Johan Sebastian and Carl Philipp Bach, and Star Dust, a ballet tribute to David Bowie. The second week includes the world premiere of Rhoden's social-justice ballet Woke as well as From Then to Now, which features highlights from the company's 25-year history. (Matinees throughout the run offer Bach 25 and From Then to Now.)
