The French-Algerian choreographer Hervé Koubi and his troupe of North African street dancers return to the Joyce with their signature full-length 2013 work, Ce que le jour doit à la nuit, a highly athletic all-male piece that looks at the rich traditions of cultures around the Mediterranean. The score ranges from Johann Sebastian Bach to the 20th-century Egyptian composer Hamza El Din; expect an eclectic mix of martial arts, hip-hop and contemporary dance.
