Calpulli Mexican Dance Company: Boda Mexicana

The folk-dance company, guided by artistic director Alberto Lopez Herrera, explores the traditions and history of Mexican weddings in an evening that includes the premiere of a commissioned work, choreographed by Javier Dzul, that is based on a Mayan legend about the tree of life and an angry god.
