The Latino dance company visits the Joyce with two world premieres inspired by poet and Spanish Civil War martyr Federico García Lorca: Carlos Pons Guerra's Waiting for Pepe, which reimagines Lorca's The House of Bernarda Alba through the lens of modern Spanish movies and television; and Gustavo Ramírez Sansano’s Espíritus Gemelos, about Lorca’s relationship with Dalvador Dalí. Also on the lineup are Annabelle Lopez Ochoa's flamenco-based Línea Recta and Michelle Manzanales's Mexican-American-themed Con Brazos Abiertos.
