It is always one of the events of the season when De Keersmaeker and her Belgium-based company come to town. This time they perform a 1995 piece set to a tonal 1899 score by Arnold Schönberg (itself inspired by Richard Dehmel's 1866 poem about a woman who tells her lover that she is bearing another man's child).
