The venerable American Ballet Theatre returns to its home base at Lincoln Center for a two-week autumn run of mixed bills. The season begins with Classics Old and New (Oct 18–21), featuring pieces by Alexei Ratmansky, Jiří Kylián and Harald Lander, followed by 20th Century Works: Balanchine and Ashton (Oct 21–26), which includes George Balanchine’s Ballet Imperial and Frederick Ashton’s The Dream; 21st Century Works (Oct 27–29) concludes the engagement with dances by Alonzo King, Ratmansky and Gemma Bond. The Fall Gala on October 24 features a different program of classic and contemporary works. The current roster of ABT principals comprises Joo Won Ahn, Aran Bell, Isabella Boylston, Skylar Brandt, Daniel Camargo, Misty Copeland, Herman Cornejo, Thomas Forster, Catherine Hurlin, Gillian Murphy, Calvin Royal III, Hee Seo, Christine Shevchenko, Cory Stearns, Devon Teuscher, Cassandra Trenary, James Whiteside and Roman Zhurbin.
