Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater

Artistic director Robert Battle continues to present classics while introducing new choreography to the company repertory. The 2019 spring Lincoln Center run, featuring different programs each day, includes the world premieres of Darrell Grand Moultrie’s Ounce of Faith and Rennie Harris's two-act ballet Lazarus, as well as Battle's Juba, Ronald K. Brown's The Call, a tribute to the great Carmen de Lavallade and, of course, multiple works by Ailey himself. Each performance concludes with Alvin Ailey's 1960 signature classic, Revelations.
