Ailey II

Alvin Ailey's sprightly second company returns for its annual spring run in New York. Its two shows, performed in rep, are a slate of premieres (by Uri Sands, Bradley Shelver, Troy Powell and Ailey's artistic director, Robert Battle) and a program of returning favorites by Juel D. Lane, Renee I. McDonald and Darrell Grand Moultrie.
