On its recent sophomore album, Fall Forever, Brighton, U.K., quartet Fear of Men amplifies the gothy gloom that skirted around the edges of its shimmery, jangly indie pop. There's the same ear for tight, springy melody but it's now wrapped in a newfound bleakness. Dark stuff, but alluringly so.
