Comedian and host Ian Abramson has won over audiences at SXSW, in Chicago and Denver, and now in NYC with this hilariously awkward stand-up showcase. The gimmick is that each comic must go into a soundproofed room to perform their material via a video feed to the audience. Without the crowd's reaction to bounce off, the comedians can only guess at how their jokes are landing. Abramson has enticed a killer lineup of local stars for this live experiment: Aparna Nancherla, Nick Vatterott, Dave Hill and Seaton Smith.
