Time Out says

From writer-comedian Lily Blumkin (The Daily Show) comes a hilarious solo show about growing up and getting worse. “Nice Try” comes to New York City Fringe on Saturday, March 29 at Caveat, offering up an honest look at how we use the past to make sense of our present. When Lily heads home to pack up her childhood bedroom, she encounters objects that remind her of characters from her personal history: a well-meaning dad, a self-indulgent rabbi, a critical cosmetics employee, an inanimate clump of hair, etc. She looks back on these adolescent humiliations fondly, until her younger self comes barging into the scene.
