Conor Janda is taking over Club Cumming: on Wednesday, July 24, the comedian will put on "iCon: An Hour of Stand Up," which charts "Janda’s survival from alcoholism, being gay before Glee, and even working in politics unpaid," a.k.a. volunteering.
The hourlong show chronicles his quest to become "an important New York gay": you know, the ones you regularly find taking underwear pics on the Fire Island dunes, reading a book (or at least holding a book) in Central Park, and caring as much about global affairs as their thirst traps. Along with Janda, the show will also feature sets by funny folks including Rebecca Weiser and Freddie Shanel.
