Comix (CLOSED)

This club has two big selling points: It’s a gorgeous space, ideally suited for stand-up, and—surprisingly—it has great food. Big, mainstream names such as Richard Lewis show up, but we're more excited about the talented alt-scene superstars, such as Paul F. Tompkins and Maria Bamford, who have also graced the stage. Downstairs, the cover-free Ochi’s Lounge (one-drink minimum) provides a platform for emerging acts and experimental shows.
