This stand-up comedy show created by Erik Rivera and hosted by JC Mendoza is for people of color, by people of color.
“A hilarious journey through the perspectives, quirks, and experiences of black, brown, and Latino comedians” held at the world-famous New York Comedy Club in the East Village, this month’s edition will feature the “well seasoned blend of wit, wisdom, and cultural commentary” of performers like Chris Reiter, April Boddie, Reggie Conquest and “Soft Launch” podcaster Samantha Santos. As with most comedy gigs, there’s a $20-item minimum purchase per person in the showroom, which includes both drinks and snacks.
