Webster Hall claims its New Year's bash features "the largest balloon drop in the free world," and who are we to argue with a club that's existed, in one form or another, for 129 years? As usual, the big nitery hosts a massive selection of sounds in its many rooms, including rock, house, electro, hip-hop and more, along with stilt walkers, snake charmers, aerialists and all kinds of similarly crazy stuff. Late at night, the main room hosts sets from such major names as Wolfgang Gartner (the big-room alias of tech-house producer Joey Youngman), Gesaffelstein and Brodinski.
