The discography of synth whiz Vince Clarke reads like the history of electropop: A founding member of Depeche Mode, he went on to form Yazoo with Alison Moyet and Erasure with Andy Bell. You may have heard a few of the songs that resulted from those endeavors—ditties like "Just Can't Get Enough," “Situation” and "Sometimes"—and Erasure alone sold more than 25 million records. More recently, Clarke teamed up with his old Depeche Mode bandmate Martin Gore for the more techno-oriented VCMG project, and while Gore's deejayed in NYC a few times, this is Clarke's first Gotham gig. Xris SMack! spins the opening set. Discounted tickets are available through Time Out Offers until August 3, 2013.
