In the early- and mid-’90s, the Underground Network crew, led by Don Welch and Barbara Tucker, ruled NYC's homegrown house scene, largely through its amazing Wednesday-night parties at the Sound Factory Bar. The gang reunites tonight for what should be a great throwdown, with Louie Vega (who made his deejaying name in part at those affairs) on the decks, and Blaze's Josh Milan and Ms. Tucker herself performing live. In the Funk Hut, Soulfinger Sam and DJ Quinta keep the beats coming.
