Paul Nickerson and Francis Englehardt—better known as Slow to Speak, the DJ duo behind legendary record store Dope Jams—have been making the monthly pilgrimage from Oak Hill in upstate New York to their new Brooklyn home, Good Room, for several months now. For this, their eighth annual Halloween bash, the magic- and black-arts-obsessed duo promise "dark swirling chaos and white picket fences," and if their July 4th, Memorial Day and Friday the 13th Valentine’s Day parties were any indication, this will keep their holiday winning streak alive.
