PLAY: Sebastian Mullaert (Minilogue) + Franklin De Costa + Naveen G

Swedish producer and DJ Sebastian Mullaert performs a special 2.5 hour live set for Listed Productions' PLAY series. Initially known for his extensive work as half of electronic duo Minilogue (releasing music on Cocoon Recordings, Crosstown Rebels, Mule Electronic and more), Mullaert has been working solo under both his birth name and the alias Wa Wu We since 2014. The creative artist—who recently revealed a new collaborative project, Be Yōkai, with Swedish producer Douglas Holmquist and director-animator-illustrator Kristofer Ström—is known for his driving, dynamic techno sets that are guaranteed to make anyone dance. Berlin's Franklin De Costa, founder of the excellent Mother's Finest party, takes on the Bad Room. The producer and DJ has been in the electronic music scene for two decades, releasing countless EPs while also working with artists such as New York's own DJ Spider. Whether DJing, producing or throwing parties, De Costa doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon. October sees the much anticipated release of his Jolted EP on Mosca's Not So Much label, as well as another EP (on Jersey City's Green Village) expected to drop before the year-end.
