Gothamite-turned-Berliner techno artist OG Adam X and his multiple side projects—the experimental-industrial ADMX-71 and the deep-creeping Traversable Wormhole—have earned him a spot as one of electronic music's unsung heroes since he helped open Groove Records (later dubbed Sonic Groove). For this no-nonsense heavy-weight techno night, Adam X brings his unique signature elements of acid, bass & bleeps and rhythmic noise to the club's pristine Funktion-One sound system, pairing up with London's Ali "Perc" Wells—known for his forward-thinking releases for labels such as Kompakt Extra, Stroboscopic Artefacts and his own Perc Trax. Among those joining in the main room is one of the most influential techno trailblazers in the U.S. dance-music scene: New York's pride and joy (and The Corner head honcho), Anthony Parasole. The White Material label—which pioneers an exciting territory of experimental house and techno—takes over the Panther Room, with co-founder Young Male and one-of-a-kind artists Galcher Lustwerk and Alvin Aronson representing.
