Mutual Dreaming matches progressive and underground DJs to create a trippy environment founder Aurora Halal describes as “some kind of mysterious, immersive, disorienting fantasy realm that feels like an authentic underworld.” The reliably experimental audio-visual party returns to host a night of dark and ethereal sounds at Bushwick DIY-spot, the Paper Box. German vinyl expert Lena Willikens, a member of Matias Aguayo’s Cómeme records tribe, brings her limitless freedom of style, joined by Rrose, a deep-techno acolyte of Berlin’s Sandwell District collective and label. Support comes from resident Halal, with lighting by Nitemind and sound by Subbass.
