Girls & Boys: Skream + FaltyDL + Stryker Matthews

The U.K. vet Skream is one of the guys you can thank—or blame, depending on your point of view—for helping to drag dubstep out of the underground and into the mainstream. FaltyDL, on the other hand, is a producer who is exploring the full range of possibilities that bass music has to offer; his upcoming Hardcourage LP, due out next month on Ninja Tune, combines old-school toughness with doses of delicacy, emotion and experimentalism. This being Webster Hall on a Friday night, though, expect him to go for the jugular.
