Deep Space: King Britt + Ben Neill

Dance-music deity François K is behind this great affair, focusing on dub in all its glorious, echo-drenched forms (vintage Jamaican, modern and what he’s calling “outerplanetary”). This week's party opens with a performance from "mutant trumpet" master Ben Neill, the innovative composer and musician who's collaborated with everyone from LaMonte Young to Helmet's Page Hamilton; later in the night, he'll be improvising on top of a DJ set from Philly's multifaceted King Britt.
