Dave Harrington Group: Live Improvised Score to Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds

Dave Harrington, of Darkside fame, likes films. And with this performance at Cameo, he sets out on the near-impossible task of soundtracking one of the greats, live and without a net. Using samplers as well as their instruments, Mr. Harrington and his eponymous group will create a live, improvised score to The Birds—the only film in which Hitchcock did not employ a conventional score—as it screens behind them.
