Any appearance by this distinguished English early-music consort is a welcome one, but this week we get two. The first, at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, is focused around Tallis's 40-part motet Spem in alium (as well as other works by Gibbons, Sheppard and others). The following date, at Carnegie's Weill Concert Hall, is dominated by Byrd's Latin motets.
