NOUS: A Musical Rite

Described as "an experimental-music project exploring ritual and spontaneity within music," NOUS brings together five composer-performers who represent the eroding boundaries among modern classical music, art rock, ambient music and more: Christopher Bono, Greg Fox, Shahzad Ismaily, Thor Harris and Grey Mcmurray. That promising cabal has surrounded itself with an all-star band that includes Clarice Jensen, Caleb Burhans, Alex Sopp and Laraaji (!), basically guaranteeing that whatever bubbles up tonight, it's going to be worth hearing.
