JACK Quartet

John, Ari, Chris and Kevin re-occupy Chez Zorn, presenting two sets each night: sometimes the whole group, sometimes intriguing subdivisions. There's not a dull night in the bunch, but we're especially psyched to hear a mix of Gesualdo, Jefferson Friedman and John Luther Adams with guest cellist Joshua Roman and an all-Zorn set, both on Fri 4; and JACK fiddler Ari Streisfeld's duo with his wife, mezzo Rachel Calloway, followed by a Matthew Barnson quartet on Sun 6.
