Hip-hop conceptualist Paul D. Miller—a.k.a. DJ Spooky, That Subliminal Kid—revisits and remixes material from Sinfonia Antarctica, a large-scale multimedia piece inspired by his trip to Antarctica. Rich on paper, that 2009 work proved slow and chilly in performance at BAM; with luck, Miller will have chipped away at his personal iceberg to reveal more compelling facets.
