Chinese New Year with Yo-Yo Ma

The cellist and his Silk Road Ensemble stick around, after their weekend with the Philharmonic, the better to celebrate the Year of the Sheep. Included on the program is the U.S. premiere of a concerto by Zhao Lin that features the cello as well as the sheng (an old-school Chinese mouth-harp with bamboo pipes).
