Chelsea Music Festival 2013

Returning for a fourth year, this impressive addition to New York's cultural ecosystem prowls through its namesake hood with quick detours to Greenwich Village and Morningside Heights. Centenary birthday boy Benjamin Britten figures prominently into several programs, his works mingling with music by composer-in-residence Eric Nathan (June 14), Berio (June 16), Corelli (June 18) and others.
