Beyond Minimalism

Violinist Gregory Fulkerson and pianist Thomas Rosenkranz have selected a plausible piece with which to anchor this program: By 1995, when John Adams wrote Road Movies, he had moved well beyond his hard-core minimalist period. Pivoting off that classic and exciting work, the duo will present newer, presumably postminimalist pieces by Andrew Shapiro, Peter Flint, Conrad Cummings and Stephen Dembski.
