The Brooke Jackman Foundation 2011 Read-a-thon: A Celebration of Literacy and Hope

Mark the anniversary of 9/11 with an afternoon of music and books. The event, honoring Brooke Jackman, a 23-year-old who was killed on September 11th, will feature musical performances from Care Bears on Fire and The Bari Koral Family Rock Band. When the music stops, hosts Isaiah Sheffer, John Schaefer, and several heroes of 9/11 will read aloud from children’s books. Truly a day to remember. All ages.
