Primary Sources: The New Russian Literature Arrives

With the help of arts organization Causa Artium and the Debut Prize Foundation, four young Russian writers (each of whom was nominated for the Debut Prize this year) visit New York. These members of the "Debut Generation"—Irina Bogatyreva, Alisa Ganieva, Igor Savelyev and Dmitry Biryukov—are less influenced by the notion of a Soviet Union than previous generations were.
