Passwords: Martin Espada on Puerto Rican Poetry

Prolific Brooklyn-born poet Espada examines several of the major figures in Puerto Rican verse, including three poets—Clemente Soto Vélez, Juan Antonio Corretjer and Francisco Matos Paoli—who were arrested and imprisoned for sedition. Tonight's event is a part of Poets House ongoing 25th-anniversary program.
