New York Review of Books 50th Anniversary

In celebration of this stalwart journal's half century of criticism, writers reflect on a particular piece or pieces that have appeared in NYRB at some point. The big lineup includes John Banville, Mary Beard, Michael Chabon, Mark Danner, Joan Didion, Daniel Mendelsohn and Darryl Pinckney, and all attendees receive a facsimile of the publication's first issue.
