The Bronx Zoo is about to get even more wild.

This summer, you’ll be able to get a whole new perspective on the zoo with two new elevated experiences: The Bronx Zoo Treetop Adventure and Nature Trek. The Treetop Adventure will feature both a zip line and an aerial climbing course. The climbing course will feature seven ropes courses of varying skill levels, while the zip line will run more than 400 feet across the Bronx River and back—and that's 50 feet above the water. Yikes!

While those two attractions will be sold separately from a general admission ticket, the Nature Walk is included with admission to the Bronx Zoo. The Trek is a fully netted bridge-and-tower course and nature play area aimed at kids and families, and it will open on June 23. The high-wire thrills of the treetop adventure, however, will open a week earlier on June 16. And those who would prefer to keep their feet on the ground can check out the upcoming Brew at the Zoo instead.
