You can watch movies on the beach at this waterfront bar starting tomorrow

We've heard you defending your precious Jersey City—more affordable, delicious Indian food, etc.—and even if we only half-believe you, we'll concede that today brings more ammo to your argument. Surf City (1 Marin Blvd), Liberty Harbor's party-centric waterfront mainstay, will be showing free outdoor movies on Wednesday nights through Labor Day.

The full schedule is below—they're terrific picks. But even more exciting than the prospect of watching '80s-era Madonna whip it around Danceteria is drinking frozen boozy beverages like the "Lava Flow" (a piña colada with flowing strawberry puree and rum) or the "Miami Vice" (piña colada and strawberry daiquiri layered). In addition to having four indoor and outdoor bars and amazing views, Surf City also serves up lobster mac and cheese and all sorts of fun beach food.
