Brace yourselves, Gotham. On Saturday, America's largest (and New York's first) Chick-fil-A will land at 1000 Sixth Avenue, serving up the chain's straightforward selection of chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and biscuits. For the opening, they'll also offer the customary giveaway of free good for a year to the first 100 adults in line.
For those of us who have both strong morals and appetites, this mouthwatering, money-saving incentive from the popular, albeit problematic fast-food establishment understandably poses quite the dilemma. So while you could always try one of the many awesome fried chicken sandwich spots that have opened recently, we won't judge you too hard for camping out on the corner of 34th St and Sixth Ave this Friday night. At least you won't be directly funding the Chick-fil-A agenda with your hard-earned dollars.
