Over the weekend, Skrillex headlined the last edition of Webster Hall's GOTHAM party. As expected it was a packed, sweaty, bass-focused party that went until the early morning.
There's still four nights of shows left before the venue shuts down for renovations and new owners. Those concerts include the tuneful guitar-rock of Michelle Branch (August 8), the ear-splitting noise of Dreamcrusher (August 9) and a final hip-hop concert that until today was TBA. That'll be headlined by Queens rapper and gourmand Action Bronson & Friends. Tickets are on sale now.
That answers the question of who'd be sending off the venue, sort of. Action Bronson won't be the last event at the club: after that early gig, Webster Hall will ride into the sunset (until it's new bosses reopen) with a final edition of its Girls Night's Out party. That also promises special guests, and your guess is as good as ours. Grab tickets to that to be among the last folks to say goodbye to the club.
