Watch these movies for free in Central Park this month

The dog days of summer are dwindling, but the season's not over yet! The Central Park Conservancy Film Festival is bringing six films to the park from August 22–27 for your (free!) viewing pleasure.

The fest starts off with viewings of School of Rock and The Last Dragon in Harlem's Marcus Garvey Park. Then you can head to Frisbee Hill in Central Park (between Sheep meadow the 72nd Cross Street Drive) to see I am Legend. Tootsie, Desperately Seeking Susan and Stuart Little. The gates open at 6:30pm and screenings start at 8pm. Don't forget to bring a blanket and a picnic! There will also be Cool Haus Gourmet Ice Cream Sandwiches and Andy's Italian Ices for sale if you'd like a sweet treat.
