Watch six people try some of the best and worst burgers in New York

Time Out New York is having a pretty mouth-watering week. In this week’s issue, we’re rounding up the 20 best burgers in the city as voted by you. Then, we’re throwing a heat-raising competition on Wednesday night, the Battle of the Burger, to crown the top patty in the city. 

To get ready for all the madness, we put six Time Out New York staffers to the test to sample burgers from Genuine Roadside, Five Guys, Standard Burger and more to find out just how discerning their patty palates really are.

Not surprisingly, they could pretty much all spot a McDonald’s frankenburger from a mile away. Check out all the saucy, bacon-heavy, spicy burger sampling below.
