Heighten Cinematics recently posted this absolutely beautiful video of breathtaking images of the sun rising over New York. Using a DJI Inspire 1 with a 4K camera, videographers Christian Garcia and Van Nguyen captured images of Manhattan, Long Island City and the Queensboro Bridge at dawn.
Most of the shots are purposefully of Long Island City. “Since most people are familiar with the Manhattan skyline, we wanted to highlight the up and coming skyline of Long Island City, an area that's becoming increasingly gentrified, like many of the boroughs of New York, for better or for worse,” they write. “Do you think it'll mirror the Manhattan skyline one day?”
