Believe it or not, New York City is full of wildlife (other than the giant rats and cockroaches) and you can witness one of life's little miracles today on the FiDi "Falcon Cam."
The 55 Water Street building built a nest, and two falcon eggs and a roosting momma (named Adele) peregrine falcon are currently visible on a livestream feed—and the eggs are expected to hatch any minute! Pairs of birds have been nesting in the building for two decades, and peregrine falcons mate for life (Adele's hubby is named Frank). If you miss the big moment, Adele is likely to lay more eggs soon.
