[title]
With no saddle in sight and the wind blowing through her mane, a carriage horse made a break for it and galloped through the city streets yesterday.
The mare named Goldie escaped from her rider on their way to a Hell’s Kitchen stable. She trotted down West 54th Street from 11th to 10th Avenue, easily keeping up with the slow-moving Manhattan traffic.
Twitter videos capturing escape look like scenes from Grand Theft Auto, but not to worry: Goldie survived her madcap adventure. She’s now back in her stable, stuck there until Mayor de Blasio finally delivers on his promise to abolish carriage horses for good.
