Need some good news after all the L train drama? Traveling using Uber is now way more accessible for Brooklynites who use it to share a ride.
Yesterday, the company announced that UberPool, which pairs you with other passengers headed in the same direction, will cost less than $8 for riders going less than eight miles anywhere in Brooklyn for the rest of the year. It’s perfect if you don’t have the dough to reserve personal Uber rides but also can’t even deal with the subway.
Since getting around Brooklyn using public transportation is difficult (we are convinced the G train is magic and only appears for people who truly believe in it), this is good news. Just think: You can live in Williamsburg and have a bae in Bushwick without it feeling like long distance.
