Last night, Donald Trump won the presidency of the United States. In spite of it all, the planet is still spinning, and while some of us sit at our desks reeling, others have already begun to mobilize in protest to the new world order.
New Yorkers who wish to air their frustrations about last night's outcome or plan ways to stand against the unexpected President-elect can gather at two protests today. ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) hosts a Say No to Trump! Say No to Racism! Defend Immigrants! rally at Columbus Circle at 5:30pm.
From 6–9pm, the Socialist Alternative collective will march from Union Square to Trump Tower.
Early this morning, Lady Gaga staged a small protest in front of the Trump edifice, parking a truck in front of the building and holding up a sign that read "Love Trumps Hate."

More protests will be announced as the day continues.
